spx closed strong enough to recycle the 9-0 buy count of Tuesday morning into a new 1-0 sell count.
whether this is a bull trend in the making will depend on the close over the next 2 sessions. a close above 1474.77 wednesday and a close above 1453.70 thursday will extend the sequential count to 3-0 sell and perhaps even setting the foundation for more meaningful moves toward the later counts of the "sequential setup".

chiu index closed at 1186.478 +6.21%, it's now +1.91% wtd and -10.64% mtd
for 2007, chiu index is +27.37% compares with the spx at +5.56%

before midnight in nyc, hang seng is +3.67% and shanghai is up slightly.
hang seng is also working on a 9-0 buy count. night is young and a 1-0 sell is possible. due to a large concentration of chinese stocks in chiu index, hang seng needs to rally for a meaningful us adr follow through....
