Chiu Index

I started the chiu index in 10/31/1994 right after i started my employee 401k account at morgan stanley. i figured it may be useful to gauge how i was doing since i was a student of the markets and had thoughts about someday documenting my own adventures. i had no idea that my portfolio would now consist of well over 100 stocks, funds, etfs and bonds with companies from all over the world. it has become a full time job not unlike what i did on wall street with these portfolios. i treat it as much with a strict discipline, but never allowing it to take time from being my son's baseball coach or lifelong learning partner. for the chiu index, we'll be examining the market and the economy daily and making small changes if appropriate.

i am not a day trader and we share ideas here that are focus on building wealth while trying not to go crazy over difficult periods in the markets. this is a lifetime project and i invite you to participate!
